How to Play the Dinosaur Game

Dinosaur Game is a one-button endless runner: your little pixel T-Rex sprints across a desert that never ends, and your only job is to keep it alive. Press Space or the Up arrow to jump over the cactus fields. Once you pass 250 points, pterodactyls appear at three different heights — jump the low ones and press Down to duck under the high ones. The dino runs faster and faster the longer you last, so every run is a fresh test of reflexes.

Beat the Global Leaderboard — No Account Needed

When your run ends your score locks onto the global leaderboard automatically — no sign-up, no email, no typing. You get a nickname on your first run (change it anytime from the header) and see exactly where you rank against players around the world. Switch between All time, This week, and Today to find a board you can actually top.

The Story Behind the Dino Game

The dinosaur runner became famous as the little game hidden in a browser's offline "no internet" page — a way to pass the time whenever the wifi dropped. dinosaur.run brings that same instantly-recognizable pixel T-Rex to any browser, online, with day-and-night cycles, sound, mobile controls, and a competitive leaderboard layered on top. No connection loss required.
